Studio

ASSISTANT STUDIO MANAGER, Oxford Circus

Location: Oxford Circus, London
Hours: 40 hours per week
Salary: ÂŁ30-32k per annum

We’re looking for a dynamic, proactive, and highly organised Assistant Studio Manager to join our flagship Oxford Circus studio — our busiest and most iconic location spread across six floors in the heart of London.

As the Assistant Studio Manager, you’ll be the right hand to the General Manager, supporting all aspects of studio operations, people management, and day-to-day execution. You’ll balance on-shift leadership with administrative responsibilities, ensuring the studio runs seamlessly and continues to deliver an exceptional experience for both our team and our community.

This is the perfect role for an experienced Assistant Manager or ambitious Team Leader ready to take the next step in their career. You’ll have the opportunity to lead, coach, and inspire a large, passionate team — while developing your own leadership and operational expertise within a high-performance environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Studio Operations

  • Support the General Manager in the day-to-day running of the studio, ensuring smooth operations and an exceptional customer experience.
  • Act as the main point of contact for staff and operations when the General Manager is off-site — including weekends.
  • Oversee scheduling, shift cover management, stock control, purchasing, and reporting.
  • Ensure all operational standards, health & safety protocols, and company policies are consistently upheld.
  • Assist with local marketing initiatives, corporate partnerships, and brand collaborations to drive awareness and revenue.

People & Performance

  • Lead from the front on the studio floor — setting the tone, energy, and standards for the team.
  • Support with recruitment, onboarding, training, and ongoing development of studio staff.
  • Provide feedback with empathy and authority to coach and motivate team members.
  • Help manage performance, resolve issues, and maintain a positive and professional team culture.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve performance, efficiency, and service.


Customer Experience

  • Champion a world-class guest experience through warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail.
  • Handle customer feedback and queries efficiently and with care.
  • Foster a welcoming, community-driven environment that reflects the brand’s values of kindness and inclusivity.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • 2+ years of experience in a leadership or assistant management role, ideally within hospitality, retail, or fitness.
  • Proven ability to lead teams and deliver results in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Confident multitasker who thrives under pressure and can adapt quickly to changing priorities
  • Passion for people, community, and creating a positive environment.
  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to understand and influence KPIs.
  • Confident in sales and marketing, with a proactive approach to driving engagement and growth.


Desirable but not essential

  • Experience in the fitness, wellness, or hospitality industries.
  • Barista experience.

Additional requirements

  • Flexible availability – shifts may start as early as 5:30am and finish as late as 9:30pm.
  • Regular weekend work required (typically one weekend day per week, agreed with GM).
  • Comfortable working across both operational and administrative functions.
  • Professional, confident, and approachable leadership style.

STUDIO FLEXI LEAD, Part Time

We are looking for a driven leader with proven customer service experience to join our studio team. This role will flex between Front of House shifts and Studio Lead shifts and is therefore a fantastic opportunity for someone to gain the skills and confidence to break into management. Please refer to our Front of House job description for a breakdown of the roles and responsibilities.

Job Summary 

As a team leader, you thrive on responsibility and understand the importance of keeping your team inspired, energetic, happy and focused at work. You are responsible for setting up the day by opening or closing the studio and delegating roles and responsibilities so that everything is well cared for and attended to across the team and business. You are able to keep a 360 awareness of how people are performing to ensure the energy and vibe remains upbeat and professional– from the music to people's body language. 

You are excellent at feeding down or forward communication to ensure the right people are in the know of anything business critical. You are the eyes and ears of our senior studio management team when they are absent and therefore responsible for upholding standards across the studio and team.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Confidently leading a team in a fast paced environment
  • Preparation and set-up of the shift and ensure all daily tasks are completed
  • Support the Studio Supervisor and Studio Manager with everyday management tasks such as ordering and operational walkthroughs
  • Ensure exceptional customer service is being provided throughout the customer journey from sign-in, class set up, Energy Kitchen and after class
  • Be an expert on our products and procedures offering guidance, knowledge and tips about who we are as a company, our concepts, instructors and events
  • Training and updating our team on product knowledge and updates
  • Ensuring the studio space, including changing rooms and Energy Kitchen, is clean with exceptional hygiene standards
  • Reporting operational issues and supporting  with the operational needs of the studio, including but not limited to deliveries, helping with Housekeeping, stocktake 
  • Take action in each moment to make it count 

Key Qualification

  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Ability to multi-task within a fast pace setting 
  • Leadership style is kind, confident, authoritative and professional 
  • Delivers feedback with empathy, care and authority to drive results 
  • You will need to be flexible with your schedule. Working hours will be based on business needs but can start as early as 5:45am and run as late as 9:30pm.
